A Mountain Home man pled guilty to theft by receiving charges during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court on September 23 and was put on probation for four years.

Twenty-nine-year-old Todd Austin Plumlee was charged in connection with the theft of items from a private boat dock in late January.

The victim reported he had not been at the dock for a week or two and that the missing items were in place at that time. He said the lock to the entrance door had been cut.

Investigators were told that a generator, truck toolbox and fishing equipment had been taken.

Investigator found that a generator of the type stolen from the dock had apparently been pawned and was listed for sale. A hold was put on the item, and the victim identified it as the one stolen from his dock.

Plumlee’s cellphone was obtained, and investigators found pictures of the stolen generator and messages regarding the plan to sell it.

In addition to his time on probation, Plumlee was required to pay slightly more than $1,400 in restitution.
