
Early voting in Arkansas begins October 21 and with that the last day to register to vote is Monday.
To confirm registration, voters can verify their information with the Secretary of State’s office.
Residents who have moved from another county within the state will need to update their address with the county clerk before Election Day. Anyone who has moved within the same county and congressional district may update their address at their polling location.
In August, a technical issues with the ARkansas Department of Finance and Administration caused problems with 50,000 address changes with voter registrations. Anyone who registered before August 2024, should verify their voter registration.
Submitting a voter registration application at a state agency, in a voter registration drive or through the U.S. Postal Service does not guarantee registration. Before being a registered voter, voters must receive an acknowledgment of their registration from the county clerk.
Voter registration applications may be found at sos.arkansas.gov. Anyone registering to vote by mail must provide either their driver’s license number or the last four digits of their Social Security number on the Arkansas Voter Registration Application, or check the box in #9 on the application to indicate that they do not possess either a driver’s license or Social Security number.
The General Election will be held November 5.
