Cotter High School to participate in 2024 Arkansas College Application Campaign

Cotter High School recently announced its participation in the 2024 Arkansas College Application Campaign. The campaign is a statewide and national initiative to increase awareness of post-secondary education options and financial aid opportunities for high school seniors and provide students with the support they need to apply to colleges and other training programs.Cotter High School principal Jarod Jefferson says, “Last year, nearly 70% of our graduating seniors made plans to attend college. Whether it be a two-year, four-year, or technical school, we are committed to helping our students discover post-secondary pathways for their future.”

As part of the campaign kickoff, Cotter Mayor Mac Caradine, joined students at Cotter High School to read a proclamation declaring October College Application Month. Caradine said, “This campaign offers a tremendous opportunity for our students to explore the many avenues available to them after high school. I urge all seniors to get involved, ask questions, and seek out the support they need to pursue the next steps in their education.”
