The Spectrum Connection of Arkansas, a local organization designed to raise awareness for autism, attention deficit disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and dyslexia, is hosting an event called Glitz Glam Dress Up Your Denim on Thursday night at 6 at the Clubhouse at Big Creek Country Club.
The event will have a variety of activities, including a silent auction, music, hors d’oeuvres, drinks cocktails, and a photo booth.
Bridgette Shipman from the Spectrum Connection of Arkansas says the event is great for casual participants despite the fancy name.

Tickets are still available, but very few remain. To reserve a ticket, call the Schliemann Center at 870-508-2345.
Proceeds from the event will go to resources for the Spectrum Connection of Arkansas’ needs, education and to build a center to serve the area.
For those who cannot attend but would still like to support the organization’s mission, donations can be made by writing a check to Spectrum Connection of Arkansas.
