The Cotter High School volleyball team’s quest for the 2A-2 District Tournament championship ended Thursday at Marshall. The Lady Warriors lost in four sets as the host and top-seeded Lady Bobcats posted scores of 25-23, 18-25, 25-18 and 26-24.
The 3A-2 District Tournament came to an end at the Panther Palace in Bergman.
Flippin ended the opening match of the day by finishing in third place. The Lady Bobcats defeated Bergman in four sets with scores of 25-14, 19-25, 25-20 and 25-11.
Salem ended up as the runner-up of the tournament. The Lady Greyhounds lost the championship match in straight sets as top-seeded Valley Springs posted scores of 25-20, 28-26 and 25-20.
