Jr Bomber teams see tough night against Farmington

Mountain Home’s junior basketball teams faced off against Farmington Monday with mixed results for the boys and girls teams.The junior Lady Bombers where home at the Hangar with the night beginning with a strong showing from the 7th grade team. Final score was 13-6 with Zoey Kaye and Sophia Kaminski both scoring 4 points. Farmington started to take the wins with the 7th grade girls varsity team with a final score of 39-14 against the Bombers. Samira Gassama and Sophia Kaminski each contributed 3 points a piece for Mountain Home. The 8th grade girls game ended in a loss for the home team with a score of 44-6 with Allyson Tilley posting 4 points for the Bombers. The girls finished the night with a 9th grade matchup but it was the visitors taking the final win 55-29. Addison McCarn had 9 points, Macy Farris 8 and MaKenna Miller and Mackenzie Kotlowski with 4 points each.

The boys teams for Mountain Home where on the road to Farmington’s home court and struggled to take a win home. The 8th grade game ended with the Cardinals taking the win 50-24. Connor Gentry had 8 points,Finley Maxey 7 and Hayden Wagner 3 for the Bombers. The 9th grade game ended in a loss for Mountain Home 60-27. Max Bryant posted 10, Drew Nelson 5
and Coldin Whitaker had 4 points for the Bombers.
