
A night of fun for area sixth, seventh, and eighth graders returns to the L.C. Sammons Youth Center this February. Mountain Home Parks and Recreation will host its Valentine’s Dance on Feb. 1 from 7 to 9 p.m.
The dance, open to sixth, seventh, and eighth graders from area schools, costs $5 for entry and includes refreshments, music, lights, and a photo booth.
Recreation Coordinator Enoch Pepin, says they spend a lot of time creating an age appropriate playlist for the dance.

Pepin says they have a few strategies to get the kids dancing if the floor gets quiet.

The event will be chaperoned and staff will make sure participants do not leave the dance until it is over.
