With the excitement of the new Mountain Home Community Center and aquatic facility under construction at McCabe Park, many have been wondering if the pool will be open at Cooper Park this summer. Enoch Pepin and Andrew McNair with Mountain Home Parks and Recreation spoke with KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News and say despite setbacks, construction is progressing quickly, and the new facility is expected to open by next summer.

The aquatic center will be located at the junction of U.S. Highway 62/412 West and the Sheid Hopper Bypass in McCabe Park. Once the facility is completed, the pool in Cooper Park is planned to be converted into a splash pad.
