Tuesday basketball schedue includes MHHS hosting Siloam Springs

High school basketball makes up the local Tuesday schedule as Mountain Home wraps up its current home stand. The Bombers and Lady Bombers are set for another matchup with Siloam Springs.
Mountain Home’s girls come into the game ranked third in Class 5A and ninth overall in the latest Arkansas Sports Media poll. The Lady Bombers are 21-4 on the season and 7-2 in the 5A-West after winning their Sweetheart Royalty game over Russellville. Siloam Springs is 8-17 and 1-8 following their loss to Van Buren. Mountain Home defeated the Lady Panthers 59-34 on Jan. 14.
The Bomber boys are 12-13 overall and 2-7 in the league after falling to Russellville on Friday. Siloam Springs is 10-14 and 1-8 after suffering a one-point defeat to Van Buren. Mountain Home lost to the Panthers 71-57 nearly a month ago.
The junior varsity games tip off at 5 at Bomber Gymnasium. The varsity contests begin around 6 and will be broadcast on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com and the Bomber Sports Network on YouTube.

Also in the 5A-West, Harrison hosts Farmington, Russellville travels to Van Buren, and Alma makes the trip to Greenwood.

Elsewhere, Cotter entertains Jasper for Senior Night, Norfork heads to Brockwell to play Izard County, Flippin is home against Life Way Christian, Yellville-Summit travels to Kingston, Viola’s boys host Winona, Mo., the Viola girls make the trip to Tuckerman, Calico Rock entertains Maynard, Bakersfield’s girls are home against Mansfield, the Gainesville boys host Fordland for Senior Night, Salem entertains Mammoth Spring, Lutie’s boys are home against Koshkonong for Senior Night, Dora hosts Van Buren, Mo., Melbourne entertains Bergman for Senior Night, Marshall heads to South Side-Bee Branch, Timbo travels to Omaha, Mountain View makes the trip to Valley Springs, and Lead Hill heads to Western Grove to meet Ozark Mountain.
