Saturday will be the last time the Mountain Home High School basketball teams play on their home floor this season. It’s Senior Day as the Bombers and Lady Bombers welcome Alma to the Twin Lakes Area.
Mountain Home’s girls come into the game ranked third in Class 5A and eighth overall by the Arkansas Sports Media. The Lady Bombers are currently 23-4 on the season and 9-2 in the 5A-West following their three-point win at Van Buren eight days ago. Alma is 13-13 and 1-10 after a nine-point loss to Harrison. Mountain Home defeated the Lady Airedales 49-44 on Jan. 24.
The matchup was rescheduled for the weekend after the weather forced its postponement on Friday, but Lady Bombers’ head coach Dell Leonard says he’s hoping for a good crowd at Bomber Gymnasium.
