The Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (B.A.S.S.), one of the largest fishing organizations in the world, is bringing one of its series to the Twin Lakes Area this spring. Division 2 of the St. Croix Bassmaster Opens will have its third tournament of 2025 on Norfork Lake April 3-5.
According to Bassmaster.com, the Opens are a series of tournaments that tier up to the Bassmaster Classic and the Bassmaster Elite Series. They’re split up into two divisions with four tournaments in each division.
This will not be the first time B.A.S.S. has brought an event to the Twin Lakes Area. The Strike King Bassmaster College Series and Strike King Bassmaster High School Series were both on Norfork Lake in 2022. In addition, the Bassmaster Elite Series, the highest level of professional bass fishing tournaments, has brought its anglers to Norfork and Bull Shoals lakes.
