A cell phone salesperson in Mountain Home has been arrested after she texted intimate videos from a victim’s phone to herself while she was upgrading the person’s phone. Facing six felony charges in the case is 22-year-old Riley Michael-Shane Tapp of Mountain Home.

According to the probable cause affidavit from the Mountain Home Police Department, the victim had taken his phone to a local retailer for an upgrade. When the victim left the store, they noticed a sent message on the new phone to a number they did not recognize. The message contained a sexually explicit video of the victim.

During the investigation, it was determined the number belonged to Tapp who facilitated the transaction involving the phone. During an interview with investigators, Tapp said the video was “air dropped” to her phone accidentally. When she was told the video was texted, she had no explanation.

A search warrant was executed on Tapp’s phone and investigators found two more explicit videos of the victim.

Tapp is facing three charges each of unlawful use or access to computers and video voyeurism. Tapp was released from the Baxter County Detention Center after posting a bond of $5,000.
