Arkansas to meet Kansas in NCAA Tournament 1st round

The postseason continues for the Arkansas Razorback basketball team Thursday as they play their opener in the NCAA Tournament. The Hogs will meet Kansas for their first round game in Providence, R.I.

Arkansas enters the tournament as the 10th-seeded team in the West Region. The Razorbacks fell to 20-13 a week ago when they were edged out by Ole Miss in the second round of the SEC Tournament.

Kansas has a record of 21-12 and is the No. 7 seed in the region. The Jayhawks’ last game was in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Tournament when they lost to Arizona.

Tip-off at the Amica Mutual Pavilion is scheduled for 6:10. Thursday’s game can be seen on CBS.
