Missouri State will get home court advantage as they play their opener in the Women’s Basketball Invitation Tournament (WBIT) on Thursday. The Lady Bears are set to welcome Oral Roberts to Springfield.
Missouri State enters the WBIT with a record of 25-8. The Lady Bears finished the regular season as Missouri Valley Conference co-champs and was later upset by Belmont in the semifinals of the conference tournament.
Oral Roberts comes in from Tulsa with a mark of 24-8. The Golden Eagles ended up as the Summit League’s regular season and tournament runners-up.
Gametime at Great Southern Bank Arena is slated for 6:30. Thursday’s game can be streamed on subscription-based ESPN Plus.
