On Tuesday, the Howell County Sheriff’s Office received an official report which identified the remains of a Howell County man who had gone missing in 2020.

The remains were discovered in August 2024 and samples were provided to a forensic scientist by the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab. The remains were determined to be those of Limon Little.

The conclusion came after comparing a profile generated from the remains to a reference standard provided by Little’s sister. The probability was determined to 99%.

The Howell County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab are actively continuing to work leads and are still working on other submitted items of evidence. The FBI has also been requested to aid in additional evidence testing and processing.
