MH students help write, present and pass Senate Bill to improve Robotics funding

Students from Mountain Home recently had the opportunity to travel to the State Capitol and experience the process of getting a bill written, presented and passed.

Senate Bill 391, which creates a grant program for school districts to be able to provide Robitics programs to students, passed in the Senate and House.

Bergenstock says there are many challenges in funding a Robotics team and this bill aims to help alleviate that cost.

The next steps for the Bill are now up to the Department of Education and, if the Bill is signed, the Mountain Home students plan to return to the Capitol.
