Friday’s schedule includes a return to the home field for the Mountain Home High School softball team. The Lady Bombers will continue 5A-West action as they welcome Greenwood to McClain Park. The varsity game at Freedom Field begins at 5 followed by the junior varsity contest.
Elsewhere on the softball schedule, Cotter hosts Izard County, Bakersfield travels to Summersville, Gainesville makes the short trip to Dora, Melbourne heads to Pleasant Plains to face Midland, Valley Springs entertains Cave City, Harrison travels to Russellville, and Omaha makes the trip to Jasper.
Gainesville is set to compete in the championship game of the Hartville Baseball Tournament. The Bulldogs meet Crocker at 2.
In other high school baseball, Norfork heads to Scranton, Flippin is home against Bergman, Yellville-Summit hosts Lead Hill, Bakersfield travels to Seymour, Salem entertains Izard County, Dora makes the trip to Mountain View-Liberty, Mountain View heads to Searcy to take on Riverview, Valley Springs plays Cave City at the Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison, Harrison is home against Batesville, and Omaha travels to Jasper.
