On Friday, Arkansas State University-Mountain Home announced the resignation of head baseball coach Spencer Adcock. Chancellor Dr. Bentley Wallace says assistant coach Bailey Butler will step in as the interim head coach for the remainder of the season.

Dr. Wallace says Adcock’s resignation came on fairly quickly, but in the nature of intercollegiate athletics, it’s not an uncommon occurrence for coaches to come and go.
