The Flippin City Council will meet Tuesday at 5:45 in the Flippin District Courtroom, beginning with a public hearing on a proposed grant for upgrades to the city’s wastewater collection system. The funding would come through the Arkansas Community & Economic Development Program.

Following the hearing, the council will proceed with its regular monthly meeting. Agenda items include approval of the March 2025 minutes, review of city financials, adoption of the 2025 budget, and consideration of a spending ordinance.

City departments will provide updates, including the fire department’s request for spending approval on fireworks and building repairs, as well as grant opportunities. The council will also hear about a revised business license ordinance and police department activity. A resolution will be introduced to seek 2025 TAP funding for new sidewalks along Main Street from 3rd Street to Fallen Ash Creek.

The meeting is open to the public.
