
The Mountain Home Kiwanis Club will partner with the Mountain Home Parks and Recreation Department to present the annual Kids Safety Fair this weekend. The fair will be held Saturday from 10 to 2 in the L.C. Sammons Youth Center at Cooper Park.
Youth center manager Kelly Lewis was a recent guest on KTLO-FM, and she says the purpose of the fair is to provide local youth with a fun event while drawing their parents and guardians in to provide resources for children’s safety.

Lewis says 13 different organizations will be represented at the safety fair.

One of the organizations to be represented on Saturday is the PAYS (Prevention, Awareness, Youth, Services) Coalition. Lewis says the coalition will be providing information on vaping and nicotine prevention.
