
The Mountain Home Bombers scored with two seconds left in regulation to secure a 3-2 victory over Farmington in a varsity boys soccer match Tuesday night, keeping postseason hopes alive.
Farmington opened scoring with a first-half goal off a free kick, but Mountain Home tied it before halftime on a set piece finished by Zane Darracq. Jake Brewer and Kaleb Daniel were credited with assists.
In the second half, Landon Scallion gave the Bombers the lead with a header off a cross from Brewer. Farmington responded with an equalizer with just over a minute remaining.
Mountain Home sealed the win in the final seconds with a goal from Yonathan Hernandez. Dierks Beauregard and Jacob Bzdel assisted on the play, with Bzdel dribbling into the box before the setup.
Goalkeeper Zach Padgett recorded 10 saves for Mountain Home.
The junior varsity teams played to a scoreless draw earlier in the evening. Jacob Taylor had six saves for the Bombers in goal.
Mountain Home concludes the regular season Friday with a road match at Greenwood.
