Mountain Home is the site which will kick off the Arkansas Special Olympics as local law enforcement officers prepare to carry the Flame of Hope for the Torch Run.

The event starts on the morning of May 20 at 9 at Bomber Stadium. Once runners leave the stadium they will move onto Bomber Blvd, to E 1st St. and progress to S College St. before finishing on E. 8th St.

Spectators can view the run either at the starting point at the Bomber Blvd. plane or anywhere on the track.

Breanne Swann, MH Special Olympics Coach, says this is an important event for athletes to show their support for law enforcement and vice versa.
