Baxter County Judge Kevin Litty recently announced his intent to run for a second term in office.
KTLO News caught up with the Judge to discuss the upcoming campaign and his motives for seeking re-election.

One of the biggest challenges during his time in office has been the airport.

When asked about his goals for the future, the Judge said his priorities are focused on getting new equipment for the Road and Bridge Department. Despite recent decreases in county revenues, he is still optimistic about having the necessary budget for these new projects.

The Sheriff’s department also has big changes on the horizon as Sheriff Montgomery will not seek re-election after serving the county for over 20 years.
