Residents in the Twin Lakes area experienced power outages Saturday morning. As of 11:50, North Arkansas Electric Cooperative (NAEC) is reporting 320 members in Baxter County currently without power.
According NAEC CEO Mel Coleman, heavy winds sustained in the Twin Lakes area caused trees to fall on power lines in addition to lightening strikes taking out circuits.
Crews are active and are working to restore power to residents that are currently being affected. To view the NAEC outage map, click here.
