Joshua “Josh” James Haas of Salem, Missouri, formerly of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away May 20, 2025, in Licking, Missouri at the age of 46. He was born October 1, 1978, in Brigham City, Utah, the son of Ronald Haas and Melanie Clark. On October 19, 2007, he married the love of his life, Crystal Rick, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Josh was a true jack-of-all-trades. Over the years, he worked at a sawmill, helped build homes, performed engineering and electrical work, cooked in restaurants, and spent some time as a DJ. He was known for being a bit of a wildcard, and was always ready to try something new. His creativity shone through in his love for fire spinning, a passion he pursued with his friends in Fire Tribe 870. More than anything in the world, Josh loved spending time with his daughter, Trinity, painting models, watching movies, and playing games. He had a magnetic spirit and a heart that welcomed everyone. He seemed to know a friend wherever he went, and those who knew Josh will deeply feel his absence.
Josh is survived by his wife, Crystal Haas; mother, Melanie Clark; daughters, Trinity Haas and Liberty Watkins; sons, Eli and RJ; brother, Phil Farris; and a host of friends and extended family whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father; his grandmother; and his close friends that he cherished as family, Blake, Glenn, and Chan-NFA.
Visitation will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Brown’s Beach Pavilion, Bull Shoals, Arkansas. A Funeral Service Josh will begin at 2:00 pm, with Truman Fuller officiating.
