
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. Arkansas (43-13), the No. 3 national seed and top seed in the Fayetteville Regional, begins its NCAA Tournament run against NDSU (20-32) Friday afternoon inside the friendly confines of Baum-Walker Stadium.
First pitch between the Hogs and No. 4 seed Bison is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, on ESPN+ with Kevin Fitzgerald (play-by-play) and Bobby Moranda (analyst) on the call. The winner of Friday afternoon’s contest will advance to play at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 31, against the winner of Friday night’s game between No. 2 seed Kansas (43-15) and No. 3 seed Creighton (41-14). Friday’s losers, meanwhile, will meet in an elimination game at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The winner of the Fayetteville Regional will play the winner of the Knoxville Regional in the best-of-three-game super regional from June 6-8 or June 7-9. No. 14 national seed and top regional seed Tennessee (43-16) hosts No. 2 seed Wake Forest (36-20), No. 3 seed Cincinnati (32-24) and No. 4 seed Miami (OH) (35-21) this weekend in Knoxville, Tenn.
