In American Legion baseball action Friday evening, the Mountain Home Lockeroom team defeated Conway 5-4 in the opening round of the Round of Bryant Tournament in Benton.
Cash Arnhardt led the offense with a key RBI triple. Nate Henderson and Lincoln Sherry each added RBI singles.
Mason Sinclair earned the win on the mound, pitching five innings and striking out six. Ethan Light closed out the game with a two-inning save, striking out four.
The Lockeroom returns to action Saturday at 2 against Bryant in day two of the tournament.
