Lockeroom splits first day at Mule Club Centennial Games

The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team traveled to Warrensburg for the Mule Club Centennial Games Thursday.In the first game, Cash Arnhart collected three hits in four at bats, but Lockeroom fell to the Mule Club 10 to 7. Maddex Chism started the game, giving up seven hits and four runs over three innings.

In the nightcap, Mountain Home was able to rally and secure the win against Leavenworth with a final of 7 to 6. The game was tied at six in the bottom of the fifth when Lincoln Sherry hit a solo home run to left, that would end up being the winninng run. Nate Henderson earned the win giving up five hits and two runs over five and one third innings.

Lockeroom will open the second day of the tournament with a rematch against the Mule Club. First pitch is set for 2.
