
The Mountain Home American Legion Lockeroom had a busy Friday in Missouri as they played in two tournaments and won 2 of 3 games.
The day started with win against Mule club 6-3 in the final day of the Mule Club Classic in Warrensburg, Missouri. Xander McCandlis earned the win for Mountain Home over seven innings, striking out four and walking three.
The final game at the Mule Club Classic was a match against Leavenworth and Lockeroom dominated with a 15-2 victory. Peyton Bodenhamer earned the win at the mound. The starter game up two hits and two runs over two innings, striking out two and walking five. Lockeroom collected 11 hits on the game.
Lockeroom finished their day by traveling to Sedalia to begin the opening of the Wood Bat Tournament in Sedalia, Missouri. The night cap ended in a close loss to the Sedalia Travellers of 6-5. Cash Arnhart took the loss for Lockeroom pitching seven innings, striking out three and walking two.
Lockeroom improves to 23-8 on the season. Play in the Wood Bat Tournmanent continues in Sedalia Saturday with two games scheduled to begin at 11.
