Residents in the central part of Marion County are cleaning up Monday morning after a storm ripped through the area Sunday evening. Marion County Judge Jason Stumph says he believes it was a small supercell and his crews have been out most of the night dealing with fallen trees and washed out low water crossings.
The Judge spoke with KTLO’s Sammy Raycraft earlier Monday morning with an update on areas affected and a timeline for access to be restored to the heaviest hit areas.
Listen:
Last night’s storms have only compounded the already very soggy conditions county wide from the heavy spring rains and floods making it near impossible for a lot of the heavy equipment to even work in some areas.

To report wash outs or impassable roads call the Marion County Road Department at 870-449-6021.
