The past weekend total was more rain than the area saw for the entire month of June in 2024 which was recorded at a total of 2.67 inches. So far in 2025 43.19 inches of precipitation has fallen which dwarfs the total at this time in 2024 of 28.2 inches.
The wettest June ever recorded was in 1928 where a staggering of 15.04 inches fell. Heading into the Independence Day holiday hot and drier conditions are being predicted after some rain showers Monday. Expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the lower 90s and lows in the lower 70s through the coming week.
