The Baxter County Quorum Court will meet in regular session Tuesday evening at 5:30 in the 2nd floor Courtroom of the Courthouse with a resolution expected to outline the parameters of the $50,000 in economic development funding passed by the court in early June.
Other items of new business will include an ordinance to appropriate fees and reimbursements to the Sheriff’s Office 2025 budget. An ordinance appropriating grant funds from the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Security and Preparedness. An ordinance appropriating funds from the General Fund to the Veteran Services 2025 Budget. The Clarkridge Volunteer Fire Department Board of Commissioners is expected to see the reappointment of Mary Ferron and the appointment of Robert Southard by County Judge Kevin Litty.
The agenda includes the Treasurer’s Report delivered by Jenay Mize, a report from Dennis Frank for the Budget Committee and a report from Cameron Davis for the Economic Development Committee.
The Baxter County Courthouse is located on the square in Mountain Home. The meeting is open to the public.
