The Marion County Library announced at the end of June that Kasi Casteel had been named its new Library Director. The decision was a coordinated effort by Marion County Judge Jason Stumph and the newly formed Marion County Library Board. The board, formed earlier in the year, had taken a slow, metered approach to presenting candidates to the Judge as the library looked to rebuild following the removal of its previous director after an arrest was made in December with allegations of misuse of County funds.Judge Stumph says Casteel stood out as the best choice for Marion County.
