Fulton County man injured when ejected from motorcycle, hits road sign in Ozark County

A man from Fulton County was injured on the Fourth of July in a motorcycle accident in Ozark County when he was ejected and hit a road sign. The 69-year-old from Salem was airlifted to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield with what were termed moderate injuries. The Missouri State Highway Patrol does not release accident victim’s names.

According to the accident report, the accident happened when the man lost control of the motorcycle, it crossed the center line, overturned and ejected the driver who then hit a road sign.

The accident happened on U.S. Highway 160 in Hardenville Friday night at 9:55.
