
Every kid that has ever picked up a sports video game dreams about being in one. Well that dream is a reality for Elijah Lagg who’s name, image, and likeness is used in the new College Football 26 game developed by EA Sports.Elijah Lagg began his career at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson, Mississippi. He then transferred to Division 1 UAB to become a Blazer, which he says is the culmination of a long journey.

The game, which is available on PlayStation and XBox, features the name, image, and likeness of 10,000 real world athletes and 300 real world coaches from across 138 Football Bowl Subdivision teams.
Since Lagg agreed on EA Sports being able to use his name, image, and likeness he was paid an undisclosed amount of money and received a free copy of the game. Lagg explains the process of being added into the game.

Lagg, who is a 68 overall in the game, was shocked at how realistic his character was, and thinks his overall could use some improvement.

Lagg has not had a chance to play as himself in the game but says his friends have, and mentioned how similar the virtual player is to himself.

Lagg is currently listed 2nd on the Blazers depth chart at Tight End. The UAB Blazers will open the season against Alabama State on August 28th on ESPN+. EA College Football 26 is now available nationwide.
