Mason Sinclair threw a shutout Saturday to lead Mountain Home Lockeroom past the Yard Birds 7-0 at Greenland High School.
Lockeroom broke a scoreless tie in the third inning when Sinclair hit a two-run double to open the scoring.
The Yard Birds’ starter, wearing No. 9, allowed five hits and five runs – four earned – over 3 1/3 innings. He struck out three and walked two.
Mountain Home collected 11 hits in the win. Lincoln Sherry led the team with three RBIs, going 2-for-3 at the plate. Sinclair went 3-for-4, while Nate Henderson and Cash Arnhart also had multi-hit games.
Lockeroom continues its road trip Sunday with a matchup against 5 Star Arkansas Desola on Bulldog Field at Fayetteville High School. First pitch is scheduled for 11:15 a.m.
