
The Flippin School District Board of Education held its regular monthly meeting Monday evening at 6, approving a series of personnel, financial, and policy-related items ahead of the 20252026 school year.The board approved the consent agenda and adopted a resolution to allow the use of electronic fund transfers.
Personnel actions included the hiring of Sarah Huffmaster as a cook and the approval of a cafeteria manager position. The board also accepted food service and flooring bids.
Several administrative items were approved, including the 20252026 student handbooks, a disclosure form related to snow removal responsibilities, and a purchase service agreement with Cotter School District for a shared food service director. A separate agreement was approved with the City of Flippin for a school resource officer.
The board also approved the districts federal and state budgets for the upcoming year, along with a required statement of assurances for compliance with state and federal education regulations.
