Cardinals fans will once again have the rare chance to step into the batter’s box at Busch Stadium as the team brings back its ‘Fans at Bat’ experience this summer.The unique opportunity allows up to 20 participants per session to take batting practice on the field under the instruction of former Cardinals players. In addition to swinging for the fences, fans will be able to field balls in the outfield, take grounders in the infield, and spend time in the dugouts just like the pros.Four one-hour sessions will be offered on each of two dates – Friday, Aug. 22, and Thursday, Sept. 11 – with time slots available between 4 and 8. Each session costs $135 per person, and participants must be at least 12 years old.
The team says space is limited, and the event has sold out quickly in previous years.
