
Tommy Knight has announced his bid for reelection to the Mountain Home Public School Board, Position 2.A lifelong resident of Mountain Home and a 1973 graduate of Mountain Home High School, Knight said he would be honored to continue serving the community.
“I’ve always believed in the importance of our school system,” Knight said. “The future of our schools has, and always will, matter to me.”
Knight was first elected to the school board in the spring of 2025 to complete the term of Bob Chester. He now seeks a full term in office.
He brings 18 years of experience as a Medicare health insurance agent and has served in several leadership roles within the community, including as a founding board member of Top Flight Basketball and as the current president of the Fairview Cemetery Association in Buford.
Knight is also a 2024 Hall of Honor inductee of the Mountain Home Education Foundation and an active member of First United Methodist Church of Mountain Home. His children are alumni of Mountain Home High School, and all of his grandchildren currently attend or will attend the Mountain Home Public Schools.
