For those attending events at the Cotter gymnasium this school year, they will see something that is new and very unique. Most gyms across the country will have their school’s mascot painted on the floor. When Cotter had their gym floor redone this summer, they had their Warrior mascot put at midcourt, but they also added something special. The Cotter Rainbow Bridge has been painted on the gym floor.
Superintendent Jayme Jones says they were doing work in the gymnasium and he thought it would be a great tribute to the famous landmark in the city.
