17 Building permits valued at $1.7 million for July

In July, 17 building permits were issued according to a report from the City of Mountain Home’s Office Manager of Planning and Engineering Department Jeannie Anderson.

Three commercial sign permits were issued. The first went to JTJ Properties LLC located at 200 E 7th St. for a construction value of $975.00. The second to Kingsview Partners at 200 E 7th St. for $850.00. The third permit was issued to Ozark Print Market at 1101 HWY 62E with a value of $5,000.

Six commercial permits were issued in July. Four were for remodels including Lux Nail Lounge & Spa located at 307 S Main ST. for $180,000, Massage Spa Lihua Yu located at 307 HWY 62E for $8,000, Kingsview Investments located at 717 S Church St. for $185,059.38 and Jordan’s Kwik Stop located at 101 HWY 5N for $49,999.00. A commercial addition permit was issued to Mountain Home Saddle Club located at 1712 Fairgrounds Dr for $50,000. A new commercial building permit was issued to Shadrach’s Coffee for a property at 2113 HWY 62E valued at $150,000.

Three new residential building permits were issued. The first was to Justin Ulch at 1001 Bluebird Ln. with a construction value of $350,000. Riverwalk Homes LLC aquired permits for both 45 Colonial Ct. with a valuation of $345,000 and 116 Olympic Dr. with a valuation of $275,000.

Four homes were approved with Architectual Control Committee updates. The first went to Paul and Revah Jones for the poperty located at 102 Parkview Circle with a construction cost of $5,567. The second for Michael Lenz for the property at 505 Benton St. with a construction cost of $4000. The Third went to Kim Solomon with construction costs valued at $6,000. The fourth went to Edward Arnold for the property located at 329 Baxter Ave. with a construction cost of $14,263.69.

One residential deck permit was issued to Chris and Emily Flody for their property at 1802 Brentwood Dr., with a construction value of $80,000.

The total construction valuation for all permits issued in July was $1,709,714.07, with $3,545.73 in fees collected.
