The city of Gassville has issued a burn ban for the entire corporate limits until further notice. All burning of any type is prohibited.
The ban was put into place Friday morning according to a release from Gassville Mayor Jeff Braim.
Cities under a burn ban in Baxter County now include Gassville, Salesville, Norfork and Briarcliff.
The counties of Fulton, Izard and Sharp are also under burn bans in North Central Arkansas.
