On a sweltering afternoon the Bomber tennis teams opened the 2025 campaign in Jonesboro. Mountain Home’s boys came out victorious 3-1 against Valley View. The pairing of Strat Rucker/Ben Souder was the lone loss for the boys. Landon Horne won 8-0 in his singles match. Oakley Recktenwald was victorious in both of his matches by the score of 8-0. Nathan Mooney/Max Goodwin were victorious in their doubles match 8-3.
The Lady Bombers pulled out a split against Valley View. The doubles pairing of Devon Sussman/Kiana Talbot won their match 8-3. Mary Charles McConnell was victorious in her matches as well for the Lady Bombers.
The Bombers and Lady Bombers will resume action on August 21st as they will hit the road to take on the Springdale Bulldogs at 3:30.
