
The Izard County Consolidated (ICC) Cougars will look to open their football season on a strong note Friday when they travel to Yellville-Summit.
ICC returns seven starters on offense and six on defense, giving the Cougars experience on both sides of the ball as they prepare for a challenging slate, in just their second season playing 11-man football. Friday’s matchup will serve as a tune-up before the Cougars begin conference play against East Poinsett County in their league opener.
KTLO, Classic Hits and the Boot News spoke with Head Coach Chase Brody who is looking to improve on a 1-9 season last year, and gives his expectations going into the season.
