Cardinals announce 2025 Hall of Fame weekend schedule

The St. Louis Cardinals have announced details for the 2025 Cardinals Hall of Fame Weekend, set for Sept. 5-7 and presented by Edward Jones.The highlight of the weekend will be the 11th annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at 3 p.m. Sept. 6 at Ballpark Village. This year’s inductees are former shortstop Édgar Rentería, former pitcher Al Hrabosky and the late general manager Walt Jocketty.More than a dozen Cardinals Hall of Famers are scheduled to participate, including Ozzie Smith, Tony La Russa, Ted Simmons, Scott Rolen, Joe Torre, Mark McGwire, Jim Edmonds, Chris Carpenter, Ray Lankford, John Tudor, Tom Herr, José Oquendo and Matt Morris.

The induction ceremony will be held outdoors on the Busch II Infield Stage in Together Credit Union Plaza at Ballpark Village. The event is free and open to the public, but lawn chairs will not be allowed.

The Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum will host additional events on Sept. 5 and 6, including a Flashback Friday conversation with Rentería and Hrabosky, followed by the Maryville University Walk of Fame plaque presentation.

The weekend also includes a 40th anniversary reunion of the 1985 National League Championship team on Sept. 5, presented by Heartland Coca-Cola. More than 20 players and coaches from that team, including Ozzie Smith, Willie McGee, Vince Coleman, John Tudor, Tom Herr, Terry Pendleton, Danny Cox, Ricky Horton, Andy Van Slyke and Todd Worrell, are scheduled to take part in a pregame ceremony at 6:40 p.m.

Other events scheduled throughout the weekend include a Terry Pendleton autograph session, the Cardinals Hall of Fame Red Jacket Parade, and pregame on-field ceremonies at Busch Stadium.
