The Yellville-Summit Panthers will open the 2025 football season Friday night at home against Izard County, aiming to take another step forward under second-year head coach Chaeston McCarthy.
The Panthers finished 3-7 last season in McCarthy’s debut, but return a solid core of experience with seven to eight starters back on both sides of the ball. McCarthy said the returning players have shown progress in offseason work and preseason practice.
