Local schools are reviewing the implementation of the statewide “bell-to-bell” no cell phone policy, which prohibits students from using their phones during class hours.

School officials say the policy was designed to improve student focus and classroom engagement. Administrators have been monitoring compliance and gathering feedback from teachers, students, and parents since the policy went into effect.

KTLO, Classic Hits and the Boot News spoke with Mountain Home Career Academy Principal, Mary Beth Russell who gave an update on how the students are reacting to not having their phones during school hours.
