
Bull Shoals-White River State Park will host a special Labor Day Kayak Float on Monday from 9 to noon.
Participants will join Park Interpreter, Jackie Rupp, for a guided paddle along the White River, with opportunities to observe Ozark flora and fauna. The program begins at the state park trout dock with a brief introduction to kayaking before departure.
KTLO, Classic Hits and the Boot News spoke with Rupp who details what she expects to see on the float.

Registration is limited, so participants are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible.

All gear is provided. Participants should wear clothing that can get wet and water shoes or sandals, and are encouraged to bring a water bottle, snacks, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate gear.
If the weather does not permit the float to take place, refunds will be issued.

The cost is $18 for adults (ages 13 and older) and $12 for children ages 612. Participants should arrive at the trout dock no later than 8:45 a.m.
