The Baxter County Quorum Court will meet Tuesday at 5:30 on the second floor of the Baxter County Courthouse.
The agenda includes committee reports from the budget and environmental committees and a presentation from Taylor Carmichael on the airport.
Items of new business include several appropriation ordinances: $23,512.46 in fees and reimbursements from July to the sheriff’s office budget, $2,508.50 from county general funds into juvenile services, and $75,000 from county general funds to the coroner’s building fund. Justices will also consider ordinances to amend the county’s employee liability fund, establish an escheated estate trust fund, and create both a coroner’s building fund and an annex building fund.
The court is also set to consider a resolution granting a conservation easement to the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program for the Casey House, and a resolution confirming the appointment of William Hardakiss to the Midway Fire Protection District Board of Commissioners.
The meeting is open to the public.
