Area volleyball was in full swing Tuesday night.
Izard County outlasted Omaha 3-2 on Monday, winning by scores of 25-13, 11-25, 22-25, 25-22 and 15-11. The Lady Cougars’ junior high team also claimed a 2-0 victory with scores of 25-17 and 25-11.
Valley Springs swept Yellville-Summit 3-0 on the road.
Salem edged Highland 3-2 in a match that went the distance, with scores of 25-22, 25-22, 15-25, 24-26 and 15-13.
Marshall picked up a 3-0 win over Alpena.
